Fredy Guarin says Roberto Mancini has made a positive impact at Inter Milan.

Mancini has insisted Guarin is in his long-term plans.

"The arrival of Mancini is very important," Guarin told BeInSports.

"We know everything about him as a Coach, now we're getting to know him as a person. He's giving a different spirit and enthusiasm to the team.

"He likes his team to be attacking, the defence must push as high up as possible and make the pitch as small as we can.

"He's a happy person, and very positive, he gives us so much confidence.

"We all know he was a great player, now he's a great Coach and a winner. He was good here in the past, I think he already knew a lot about Inter, and some of the players and obviously he knows us very well now.

"We're like a family here."
