Fraser: Bournemouth missing Pugh influence

Ryan Fraser feels Bournemouth miss former teammate Marc Pugh.

The midfielder left for QPR last summer.

And winger Fraser told the Daily Echo: “It's hard because obviously I've seen very good friends leave like Marc Pugh.

“I almost expected him to maybe stay here for another two or three seasons because his body, you never thought the age that he was because he kept himself in such peak condition.

“He was good around the lads and you don't always need to have those faces out on the pitch, they need to be in the changing room as well where they can bring players together and keep players' feet on the ground.

“We've lost some big players over the last couple of seasons which, especially for me, has been hard because obviously he's a very good friend of mine. The new faces have come in and done well, but it just takes time."
