AS Roma great Francesco Totti admits he wouldn't sign for the club today.

Totti split from Roma last year in bitter circumstances after holding a role within the front office.

Speaking with DAZN, Totti was asked if he was an agent would he take a young Totti to Roma...

"I wouldn't take him to play for Roma. They would sell him too quickly," he replied.

"Everyone knows that they forced me to stop playing. They wanted me to retire and I had a six-year contract as a director.

"The relationship with (then sporting director) Franco Baldini has never existed. If I made that decision it is normal that there were misunderstandings. One of the two had to leave. I took a step to the side because there were many people putting obstacles and generating chaos."
