France U20 coach Francis Smerecki wants Chelsea striker Gael Kakuta to get a move away.

Smerecki is pleased Lille have expressed interest in taking Kakuta on-loan for the coming season.

Kakuta, 20, is wanted by the French champs and Smerecki has urged him to take the move.

The striker wants to stay and fight for his place at Chelsea, though a loan move may be welcomed by new Blues manager Andre Villas-Boas.
