Sol Campbell is in line to start Arsenal's Champions League tie with Porto.
The Sun says the defender, 35, will play against Porto if William Gallas fails a late fitness test.
Campbell, who rejoined the Gunners last month, has not played in the competition since the 2006 final - which saw him open the scoring in the 2-1 defeat to Barcelona in Paris.
Gallas is struggling with a persistent back injury and manager Arsene Wenger warned Campbell he may be brought in at the last minute.
