Fortuna Dusseldorf defender Assani Lukimya-Mulongoti has welcomed interest from Aston Villa.

Villa are eying the DR Congo international for the summer market.

"My dream is to one day play in the Premier League. I am flattered by the link with Aston Villa as they are a great club," smiled Lukimya-Mulongoti.

"I am trying to improve so that one day I can go to the Premier League and play against all of the top strikers that are there."
