Leeds United midfielder Adam Fordshaw admits his Elland Road career is on the line.
Forshaw, 31, has been brought back into the team by new manager Sam Allardyce. His deal will expire next month, though it carries a 12 month option.
“I do feel a pressure and a responsibility. I'm trying my hardest to help the situation and the team as much as possible, but I wouldn't now put myself back in if it wasn't right," he said.
“My career is on the line a little bit as well and I do physically feel good enough and ready to help."
Forshaw is expected to start today against Newcastle.
