Melbourne Victory head coach Kevin Muscat has hinted at having interest in Robbie Keane.
The Republic of Ireland legend is believed to be looking for a new adventure after recently ending a successful five-and-a-half-year spell with MLS giants LA Galaxy.
Despite being 36 years of age, Keane is not finished yet and a possible shift to the A-League could be an option according to Muscat.
"Robbie Keane's a very good friend of mine and I know he's open to exploring another adventure," he said.
"Whether that's going to be here or not, time will tell."
Former Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Celtic striker Keane spent time playing with Muscat at Wolverhampton Wanderers between 1997 and 1999.
