Former Sevilla star Pitinho has told Vinicius Junior he's wrong to claim Spain is a racist country.
Brazilian Pitinho played for Sevilla in the 1980s and is unimpressed by the claims of the Real Madrid star.
He told El Desmarque: "I think he is wrong and that he has to focus on his game. He loses his focus very quickly, people are going to provoke him and he gets into the provocations.
"There are competent people to make decisions if there are some who sing and offend, it is not Vinicius who has to face the public. An athlete has to focus on his profession.
"Here they welcome us all wonderfully. Madrid and Barcelona have many black players. Vini easily gets into provocations, there are always unpresentable, in football and on the street. We have to overcome these things."
