Former Manchester United and England defender Gary Neville has been speaking to the Oxford Union about his career, including his short spell as Valencia boss.
"I don't think I will go back into management. But what I learnt in Valencia was how crucial the relationship with the players is.
"The language barrier was huge at Valencia. I couldn't communicate without a translator, but I don't think I could have done more."
Neville also commented on the struggles at Old Trafford since the loss of Sir Alex Ferguson.
"United floundering was always going to happen after Ferguson. The control over the club and the aura he has about him left a void.
And the problems with England.
"England fail in tournaments because we're simply not good enough - grassroots football needs to improve.
"The Premier League is the most exciting, the most watched, the best branded league in the world. But it's not the best. La Liga is."
