Former Liverpool youngster Coady on Newcastle, QPR radar

Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers are interested in signing former Liverpool midfielder Conor Coady, according to reports from talkSPORT.

Despite playing a key role for Wolves last season, Coady has been frozen out from pre-season by manager Kenny Jackett and it is widely believed that the 23-year-old will be departing the Molineux this summer.

Coady is not short of interest though as it has now been revealed that the duo of Newcastle and QPR, as well as Sheffield Wednesday, are currently considering a move for the former Liverpool midfielder.

His agent James Lippett of World in Motion told talkSPORT: "Conor has been outstanding over the past two seasons in the Championship.

"I have no idea why he has suddenly fallen down the pecking order at Wolves, but I'm sure that there will be good clubs that will want Conor if Wolves do not."
