Former Leicester player Adams cools talk over managers job

Port Vale boss Micky Adams has played down speculation linking him the vacant manager's job at former club Leicester. Adams, who guided Leicester to promoted to the Premier League in 2003, is also unfazed by the rumours and is instead putting all of his focus on preparing for the 2010/11 campaign with the League Two side.

He told The Sentinel: "I don't comment on speculation. I am Port Vale manager and my focus is on preparing the team for the 2010/11 season."
