Former Falkirk, Celtic, Swansea defender Hughes to take Inverness reins

Inverness Caledonian Thistle are set to appoint John Hughes as their new manager.

The Highlands club have called a press conference for Wednesday where they are expected to unveil the former Falkirk, Celtic, Swansea City and Hibernian defender as Terry Butcher’s replacement.

49-year old Hughes has managerial experience with Falkirk, Hibs, Livingston and Hartlepool United and is likely to oversee his first game with Caley at St Mirren on the weekend.
