James McFadden admits he is again really enjoying his football since his return to Motherwell.
The former Everton forward has been back at Fir Park since February after a frustrating run which began with a serious knee injury whilst with Birmingham City back in 2010.
Since then, the 29-year old Scotland international has had another stint at Goodison Park as well as time with Sunderland but he is again loving his football with the 'Well who sit second on the Scottish Premier League table.
"It's been great. I have been playing every week and I'm enjoying my football again," he told SunSport.
"I have not felt as good or as happy since I was first at Birmingham.
"I am playing every week and that was always the main thing for me.
"Being able to spend more time with my family is massive too. That part of it is great.
"Last year was difficult because I was up and down the road to Sunderland.
"I didn't know when I was getting time off and my focus was not on football or getting myself back.
"I was always wondering how the kids were getting on and when I would be up next to see them. I was not concentrating 100 per cent.
"I was when I was down there, but I was always thinking about getting back to see the family.
"At Motherwell I drop the kids off for school and then I'm home to get them at night. That is such a big thing for me now."
