Former England and Mexico national team boss Sven-Goran Eriksson has not yet decided what he will do with his future in football.

The Swede was recently removed from his post as Mexico coach along with his assistant Hasse Backe and the duo are considering a move back to club management.

Eriksson is also the former boss of Manchester City and a return to the Premier League has not been ruled out, especially given the link with Sunderland.

"We have decided that Svennis and I will work together in the future," Backe told Sport Expressen.

"There are more options with club sides than national sides, but it's impossible to say what will happen.

"I have not had time to think about where we'll go next."
