Sporting CP defender Ousmane Diomande is one who will shine in the Premier League.

That is the view of Ricardo Sousa, who coached Diomande when he was sent out for a loan spell at CD Mafra.

Diomande, who is only 19, has emerged as a serious transfer target for Premier League giants Newcastle United.

"He's one of those players who doesn't make mistakes," Sousa told O Jogo.

"Manchester City's main scout called me (during Diomande's time at Mafra).

"And, before that, someone from Arsenal had already spoken to the club. So the recent interest from a club like Newcastle doesn't surprise me in the slightest."
