Former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has predicted Manchester City will win the Premier League this season.

Ancelotti, whose last managerial post was with Real Madrid, spent two seasons in charge at Stamford Bridge where he won the Premier League title and FA Cup in 2009/10.

However, the Italian believes current Premier League leaders City will finish first in England's top flight this campaign due to the depth of their squad.

Asked who would win the Premier League and Champions League this season, Ancelotti replied:

"Manchester City in England, as they are the strongest squad and have exceptional quality," Ancelotti said.

"As for the Champions League, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Barcelona or PSG."
