Robert Pires has signed a new deal with Spanish club Villarreal.
The former Arsenal star will remain at the club until 2010 after crossing from the Gunners in 2006.
At 35, Pires' best is behind him but Villarreal are still giving him the opportunity to display his skill, poise and experience at the highest level.
