Former Ajax midfielder Juan Familia-Castillo has enjoyed his first year with Chelsea.

The youngster left Ajax's academy for Chelsea last summer.

Familia-Castilla spent the season with the U18s and was proud of his form.

"I have the idea that the club is happy with me. Such confidence is good for me. Next season I hope to play for Chelsea reserves, the Under-23s," he told Elf Voetbal.

Familia-Castillo, though, has no exact career plan for the coming years.

"That is really up to my development. I have it all in my own hands, which I find really a pleasant thought."
