Nottingham Forest winger Josh Bowler is set to return to Blackpool on loan.

Bowler's spell at Olympiacos is set to be cut short.

The 23-year-old will return to a familiar place in Blackpool, where he spent the 2021/22 season before catching the eye and signing for the Reds. Bowler spent the last few months on loan at Olympiacos, but found game time hard to come by.

After just seven appearances in all competitions for the Greek side, the former Everton midfielder is set to return to the Championship. In 52 appearances for the Seasiders, the winger contributed to 13 goals.

According to journalist John Percy, Blackpool are close to re-signing Bowler for the second half of the season. His loan in Greece is set to be cut short.
