Chelsea have been warned off Nottingham Forest youngster Matty Cash.

Cash was linked with Chelsea at the weekend.

Forest owner Fawaz Al Hasawi said the club would not let key players go in January.

"There are stories coming out saying that we are going to sell Matty Cash – we are not going to sell anyone," said Al Hasawi.

"We are not going to sell anyone with the situation as it is (with regard to the ongoing potential investment deal). It is just speculation.

"We seem to have reached the point where, when a player plays well or has a good performance, people believe we are going to sell him. But that is not true."
