Forest chairman Al-Hasawi insists he won't interfere in Davies work

Nottingham Forest chairman Fawaz Al-Hasawi insists the board won't interfere in the work of new manager Billy Davies.

Davies will take control on Monday after tomorrow's trip to Bristol City, now managed by Sean O'Driscoll, who started the season at Forest.

"People say I am always interfering with the manager's decisions but I do not interfere," said Al-Hasawi to the Daily Mail.

"If I wanted to interfere, I would not bring in Billy Davies. If I wanted to pick the team, I would be the manager.

"You know Billy Davies, he does not like anyone to interfere with his job."
