Nottingham Forest boss Stuart Pearce fears they'll be priced out of a deal for on-loan Crystal Palace defender Jack Hunt.
Hunt as impressed in 13 appearances for Forest, with Pearce keen to extend the full-back's stay beyond January.
Pearce has told BBC Nottingham that Palace's valuation of the player is too high, adding that Forest cannot afford to meet their asking price.
Hunt, who signed for Palace from Huddersfield Town, is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Eagles.
