Andreas Cornelius says he has been surprised by the amount of passion for football in Cardiff.
The 20-year old Danish striker joined Cardiff City from FC Copenhagen and although he has only featured three times because of an ankle injury, is loving the fact that he is being recognised by the fervent fans.
"Football is like a religion here," he told Ekstra Bladet.
"People are getting in touch to talk football and want to know when I will be fit to play. They want to take photos and are very enthusiastic.
"What has impressed me in the atmosphere - particularly when we play at home. It's terrific. It is truly fantastic how our supporters encourage us."
