PSG coach Carlo Ancelotti is making plans to move to Real Madrid, it has been revealed.

Punto Pelota says Ancelotti has asked former Real midfielder Claude Makelele to join him in Spain next season. Makelele has been working in the front office at PSG since retiring 18 months ago.

Ancelotti would like Makelele as his assistant coach at Real, though the Frenchman's relationship with president Florentino Perez would need to be fixed before any appointment could be made.

Perez slaughtered Makelele in the aftermath of his move from Real to Chelsea in 2003.
