Atlanta United defender Florentin Pogba says the World Cup triumph of kid brother Paul was a family victory.

Florentin admits the whole Pogba clan celebrated when the Manchester United midfielder lifted the World Cup with France last summer.

He told Foot Mercato: "We are very proud. For me, whatever happens, if Paul won it, we won it too. Without us, without the family, he would not win. This is the victory of the France team.

"But all efforts, before, during and after, he knows very well that he needs his family around him to achieve good performance, to continue to believe. So we also, like all families of players, have our small share in this victory.

"It was an unforgettable pleasure and will remain engraved for life in our memories."
