Middlesbrough new boy Willo Flood is confident his time in Scotland has made him a better player. The 24-year-old spent two and a half years north of the border, the first 18 months on loan at Dundee United and the final year at Celtic after spells at Manchester City and Cardiff.
Flood, who made his Boro debut at Sheffield United on Saturday, said: "I have definitely improved.
"I got a lot of games under my belt at Dundee United and worked with a top manager there under Craig Levein, who is now the Scotland manager.
"I learnt a lot from him and I have definitely become a better player and a more confident player."
