Flamengo striker Adriano has declared he's ready to return to Italy.

In recent days, Adriano has been fielding interview requests from local Italian media.

And last night he declared: "There is within me a desire to apologize about the way I left Inter. I would love to return.

"But I also like Roma. I would like to play with (Francesco) Totti."
