Former Premier League striker Jan Aage Fjortoft expects Liverpool to bid for RB Leipzig ace Timo Werner.

Bild says RBL will sell for £36m at the end of the season to avoid losing him for nothing.

Fjortoft, who is a pndit in Germany, thinks Jurgen Klopp will now make a move.

"Timo Werner, RB Leipzig, would be the perfect Liverpool player," he tweeted.

"Contract till 2020. They will probably sell him this summer.

"Klopp will for sure go for this one. Bayern and Dortmund too...of course."
