Sky Sports reports Championship Bolton are the favourites of five clubs chasing Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing. The 23 year old has found himself pushed down the pecking order at Anfield this season following the arrivals of Joe Allen and Nuri Sahin this summer.
Spearing is considering his options whether to stay and fight for his place or leave in search for regular first-team football whether on loan or a permanent basis.
Premier League trio Queens Park Rangers, Aston Villa and Southampton as well as Championship Wolves are all thought to be keeping an eye on the situation.
