Firmino fields Saudi interest amid Liverpool contract talks

Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino is attracting lucrative interest from Saudi Arabia.

The Daily Mail says Firmino is attracting interest from clubs in Saudi Arabia but is still leaning towards signing a new deal at Anfield.

The Brazilian forward, whose contract is set to expire at the end of the season, has been a popular player amongst Reds fans since his £29million arrival from Hoffenheim in 2015, helping the club win several titles including the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and League Cup.

Al Nassr unveiled their new superstar Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday after the Portuguese icon agreed to a deal worth a staggering £175m-a-year.

Although Firmino has offers on the table to join the ex-Manchester United and Real Madrid star in the Saudi Pro League, he is leaning towards signing a new contract at Anfield, with his current deal worth approximately £180,000 per week.
