Fiorentina striker Giampaolo Pazzini was delighted to score in this week's friendly against Barcelona.

Pazzini has impressed in pre-season and scored the Viola's only goal in a 3-1 defeat against the Catalan giants.

"That goal helped my morale, even if it came in a kind of friendly," Pazzini admitted.

"To play in front of 40,000 people and against a team of that quality is never easy and if you manage to score it can only be pleasing.

"Stevan Jovetic has earned a lot of attention because he has just arrived and has a great record, but I also want to talk about Pablo Daniel Osvaldo because he has grown a lot in pre-season.

"I really enjoyed playing alongside them in attack in the second half last night."

Of his future, Pazzini added: "I never spoke about a future away from Florence. The goal and the warmth of the fans showed me once again how much they believe in me."
