Adrian Mutu insists he is staying with Fiorentina - and is feeling better about his compo battle with Chelsea.
"I was angry and disappointed, but now I feel better," he told the Romanian media. "I want to continue playing football and hope FIFA and Chelsea will let me.
"I never thought of retiring and ending my football career. I will play another five or six years, even if not quite at my current level.
"My final club will certainly be Dinamo Bucharest, as that is where I was born and raised. I have many friends there and it's the perfect place to close my career."
There were reports that Mutu was considering a big money move to Russian side Shakhtar Donetsk in January.
"No, I am staying with Fiorentina. I feel very calm in Florence and have absolutely no reason to leave."
