Fiorentina striker Giuseppe Rossi is aiming to make Italy's World Cup squad.

Rossi's form has also brought him back into the Italy squad and he hopes to start in the 2014 World Cup, where they face Uruguay, England and Costa Rica.

"We knew it was going to be a tough group because of the seeding situation, but this must be further motivation to do well rather than an excuse for a bad start."
