Pablo Daniel Osvaldo was delighted to net Fiorentina's winner against Torino on Sunday and secure their Champions League place.

"It was the most important goal of my career," Osvaldo declared. "The celebrations at the end of the game in the dressing room were worth all the sacrifices we have made this year.

"Perhaps I haven't played that much, but when I have been on the pitch I have delivered for the team and myself.

"It is an indescribable joy and I would like to thank the fans for the affection that they have shown towards me, especially those who wanted me at the club so much last summer.

"I also want to dedicate the goal against Torino to sporting director Pantaleo Corvino - the man who always believed in me."
