Fiorentina are on the brink of signing Liverpool fullback Emiliano Insua.
Sky Italia says with Roy Hodgson now installed as new Reds manager, Fiorentina is a step away from landing Argentina left-back Insua for around £4 million.
Fiorentina are keen to wrap up things this week and hope to hear from Hodgson possibly today.
