Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade has admitted admiration for Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira.

However, Prade insists the Uruguay international's arrival is unlikely.

He said today: "He is a strong player, an excellent player, but with the players we have we can do many things. He is a strong player but we believe that the midfield is now complete in this way."

Prade continued: "We're still improving from last year. It was a difficult season. This year we have an extra Ribery, which we hope will be preserved. Chiesa had physical problems in the beginning, now we have him intact. The defence, if it stays that way, has proven to be solid. The numbers speak in our favor.

"Then it has to be the field: if things are done badly, the responsibility is mine, not (president Rocco) Commisso's.

"At this time in the midfield we have Castrovilli, Amrabat, Duncan, Bonaventura, Pulgar, and Benassi. Behind we have two very strong goalkeepers. Dragowski is in the national team and Terracciano is reliable. I have to keep my feet on the ground and I am convinced of what I am telling you.

"I can be criticised, but only at the end of our work. Everything can be improved.

"If I take (Roma striker Edin) Dzeko it is clear that he makes a difference. Everyone wants him and I believe it is so."
