Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso says they're proud despite losing the Europa Conference League final to West Ham.
Commisso was happy with the players and coach Vincenzo Italiano last night.
He said, "We are proud of the lads, it was a great season, beyond the defeats in the finasl. We played well even today. I didn't imagine it could end like this. Let's go on, I thank the fans who supported us.
"I spoke to the coach, I congratulated him on the season, but we all have low morale. We still have to move forward, we have to start from here to do better next season. Did we deserve the cup? We lost both games 2-1. We deserved more, but that's football. I'm sorry for the fans, they deserve more."
On skipper Cristiano Biraghi being struck by a missile thrown from the West Ham fans end, Commisso also said: "What they did to Biraghi is unacceptable. I spoke to the president of the Premier League, what happened is not good."
