Fiorentina have opened talks with Boca Juniors for Mateo Retegui.

The Italy striker spent last season on-loan with Tigre, which have a permanent option in the deal.

Foot Mercato says Fiorentina are moving to intervene and bring Retegui to Italy.

Their Argentine sporting director Nicolas Burdisso is driving the talks for the striker this week.

Fiorentina hope to do business for around €15m.
