Fiorentina are ready to move for Bologna midfielder Gaston Ramirez.

The arrival of Alessandro Diamanti at Bologna is seen as a direct replacement for Ramirez.

Diamanti plays in a similar role to the Uruguayan sensation which has led to suggestions that the 20-year-old could be sacrificed.

Ramirez has openly asked for a move away from the Stadio Dall'Ara outfit amidst interest from Roma and Udinese.

However, Fiorentina seem to be in the middle of rebuilding the squad and Ramirez is rated highly by the Viola.
