Cruzeiro president Guilherme Mendes has revealed Fiorentina are chasing Palmeiras goalkeeper Diego Cavalieri.
Asked about Fiorentina's interest in Cruzeiro keeper Fabio, Mendes replied: "There's been no contact.
"In any case, I believe Fiorentina are after another Brazilian keeper, Cavalieri of Palmeiras. So Fabio is only a second option."
