Sweden midfielder Freddie Ljungberg is again being linked with a move away from West Ham this summer, with Serie A side Fiorentina said to be interested.
However, West Ham chief executive Scott Duxbury insists that the ex-Arsenal man remains an important part of the Hammers' future.
If the Italians were to offer £4million, the Hammers could turn a cool £1million profit on the price they paid Arsenal for his services last summer.
He has started 24 matches for West Ham this season and scored two goals.
