Fiorentina are eyeing Palermo coach Davide Ballardini.
With Juventus circling Fiorentina for coach Cesare Prandelli, the Della Valle family made contact with Ballardini's representatives before he signed a new deal with the Rosanero last week.
Fiorentina see Ballardini as the ideal replacement for Prandelli, should he move to Turin.
