Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella says Guiseppe Rossi will see action against friendly opponents Palmeiras.
Rossi was omitted from this summer's World Cup squad by Italy.
Montella said: "Will he play in this game? For a while, yes... Federico Bernardeschi and Khouma Babacar are important for the future of Fiorentina. They have quality and can fill in for Rossi and Mario Gomez, even if they are of a different level.
"I like these players and I think they can be important right away."
