Fiorentina boss Rossi defends underfire Della Valle family

Fiorentina coach Delio Rossi has jumped to the defence of the club's owners.

The Della Valle family have come under fire from Viola fans in the past week.

“Fiorentina are in a transition period and trying to resolve the issues,” said Rossi.

“The Della Valle family does not want to shake off its responsibilities to the club. If one day they do go, as some are saying, then I ask who would be ready to take Fiorentina in hand? These owners want to invest in the side.”
