Fiorentina are eyeing Watford midfielder Etienne Capoue for a January deal.

Sky Italia says the Viola are seeking a new midfield signing this month and their search has led to Capoue.

Fiorentina have asked Watford about a price for the Frenchman.

For the moment, Watford are keeping their own counsel, though nothing has been ruled out.

Capoue has been in and out of Hornets boss Marco Silva's first team this season.
