Fioranelli group has big plans for Roma

Vinicio Fioranelli's consortium have big plans for Roma, if they can complete their takeover this summer. Corriere dello Sport says Italian agent Fioranelli will be named chairman and England team manager Franco Baldini will arrive as sports director.

Around £40 million will be made available for new signings, with Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain and midfielder Wesley Sneijder top of the shopping list.

Palermo forward Edinson Cavani and off contract Fenerbahce defender Diego Lugano will also be targeted.
