Newcastle Jets striker Sasho Petrovski is chomping at the bit for a start in Saturday night's minor semi-final against Gold Coast United.
The 34-year old is the only player to play in every finals series since the A-League's inception in 2005 and he knows that finals experience counts for a lot.
Now he just wants to get out there and prove his worth to the Jets and help the club move forward in the play-offs.
"I think I'm the only player in the A-League to have played in every finals series," Petrovski said yesterday.
"I'd like to think that experience can help me play a role in the team and help us achieve higher things.
"My career has been built around being successful. That's what I came here to do.
"There's definitely goals in me. It's just getting the opportunity to get out there and have enough time to get one in."
