Luis Figo feels Inter Milan need to lay down a marker in the coming weeks.

The Inter chief believes they need to make an early mark in Erick Thohir's presidency.

"We have to win something, in the derby or in the market," he said.

"Walter Mazzarri is beginning a new era with the new president, is the right man, with technical and human qualities.

"Hopefully we will return to Europe."
