FIGC vice-president Demetrio Albertini has played down talk of returning to AC Milan.

Albertini has been mentioned as a replacement for Milan GM Adriano Galliani.

"To follow Galliani at Milan? I do not know the plans of Milan for the future, I don't ask myself this question , he said.

"I'm focused on the World Cup and what will be will be decided at Milan isn't a concern.

"A coldness towards me and Paolo Maldini? I'll speak for myself, I have always said that my dream was to be able to finish my career at AC Milan but it was not to be."
